Showers

A shower could be provided with the bath, in a separate shower cubicle, in a shower corner, or in a ready-made unit.

The amount of room you need under the shower is crucial, and also the room you need out side to dry and dress.

Average Shower area 32 in/812 mm or 36 in/914 mm square, or Drying/dressing area - 28 in/711 mm x 36 in/914 mm.

Shower controls

The head of the shower, where the water is sprayed should be moveable. It could be fixed onto the wall or you could simply hold in. If you own a geezer you can control the temperature of your shower by a mixer valve. It is advisable to fix your bathroom an expensive thermostatically controlled mixer valve as it contributes drastically to your comfort. If your shower's water pressure is not satisfying you can fix an electrically operated pump to boost the water pressure.
