Water closets (wc)

A wc with a cistern is more than 28 in./711 mm from front to back and 16 in./406 mm across. Allow at least 4 ft. 8 in./1.4m x 28 in./711 mm floor area for the wc.

High-level cistern	Slim-Line cistern	Conventional WC suite
	Close coupled WC suite	WC with concealed cistern
	Conventional wc suite with concealed cistren

For good quality fittings choose nylon ones. Cheaper plastic ones are liable to snap and brass ones to corrode.
