01. VAASTU OF PLOTS

With these principles the levels angles sizes and shapes of plots are analized. If it satisfies vaastu principles the construction is allowed or else; the plot should be corrected before use.

SHAPE OF A PLOT

01. For Houses

i The closer the plot to a square; the better it is.
ii A rectangle also is good given that its length and breadth ratio poles not exceed 11:2
iii A triangular shape is not considered good, including circles and all other odd shapes.

02. For commercial buildings

1 The principles are the same
2 The sizes and the shape of plots may differ according to the type of business.

ANGLES OF A PLOT

01. It is better if all the corners are right angled.

02. The south west angle importantly should be 90 degrees

03. North west angles should not be less than 90 degrees

03. South east angle also should not be less than 90 degrees

04. North east angle should not exceed 90 degrees.

LOCATION AND DIRECTION OF A PLOT

01. Sites facing East and north are preferred.

02. For sites facing west & South special care is needed when designing a house or a building.
